Digital Skills for a Healthy Life Workshops    _Logos & Visual Identities - Digital Workshops

Our Digital Workshops are delivered by Digital Kent, part of Kent County Council's Financial Hardship Programme, providing residents with access to digital skills and support through group workshop-style sessions. We are offering free digital skills workshops to your community, in your community.

This project is being funded by the governments Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund. 

As an organisation or group if you would like Digital Kent to deliver one of these workshops please fill out our expression of interest form below. These Workshops will be delivered at your location covering topics below. As an individual if you would like one to one digital support, our Digital Hubs maybe more appropriate. 

Please note: These workshops do not require you to have devices. The workshops are designed to give key information through presentation and engaging conversation to take away and put into practice.

This engaging and supportive workshop helps participants build confidence with everyday digital tasks. It offers practical guidance, interactive activities, and real-life examples to explore key digital topics, including:

  • Using personal email accounts for communication and organisation
  • Navigating online shopping safely and securely
  • Staying connected through messaging apps like WhatsApp and Messenger
  • Recognising common scams and understanding how to stay safe online
  • Exploring password security and privacy settings

The workshop is ideal for groups who are new to digital or looking to refresh their knowledge. It focuses on building awareness, encouraging hands-on participation, and boosting confidence — with plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion, and follow-up support.


This practical and supportive session is ideal for jobseekers or individuals looking to build their confidence with digital tools for employment. Participants will explore how to:

  • Create, update, and share a professional CV using digital tools
  • Search and apply for jobs online using trusted platforms
  • Use employability platforms like LinkedIn and the National Careers Service
  • Understand how digital skills are used across different job sectors
  • Stay safe online when job searching and managing personal information

The workshop includes guided activities, real-world examples, and signposting to further support. It’s suitable for a wide range of audiences, including those returning to work, changing careers, or developing their digital confidence.


This session supports individuals to feel more confident using digital tools to manage their health and wellbeing. Through demonstrations and discussion, participants will explore:

  • Accessing GP services, prescriptions, and health records online
  • Using apps and websites for mental and physical wellbeing
  • Understanding the benefits of digital health tools
  • Staying safe when sharing personal health information online
  • Recognising and avoiding common health-related scams

The workshop is ideal for groups who may be new to digital health services or want to better understand how to use them safely and effectively. It encourages reflection, builds awareness, and offers practical tips for everyday use.
