Digital Kent attends the Care Sector Digital Event

Becki and Michela from Digital Kent attended the Care Sector Digital Event in Maidstone on Wednesday 8th November. The event aimed to highlight the benefits of digital to those who draw on care and support, how digital can benefit organisations and the care workforce and included a workshop to help build Digital plans for Kent and Medway. We shared a table with KCC's Kent to Support team, who are devoted to provide residents with information and advice to help you look after themselves, stay independent and connect with local community.

It was great to have the opportunity to network with teams from the care sector, promoting both Digital Kent and ReferKent. We also benefitted from knowing what digital methods are currently being used the this industry, as well as the potential for upcoming expansion including AI! This information and connections made will support and guide us as we explore new opportunities to reduce digital inequalities across Kent and Medway.
